Redeemed. Reconciled. Restored.

Making faith and community accessible

Hope Communities is a network of small, slow faith communities in Chicago

We are rooted in the radical way, welcome, and love of Jesus.

We do this through home-based worship gatherings with a dialogue-based teaching where every voice helps shape the understanding and application of the biblical text through surrender to the presence of the Holy Spirit.

We wrestle with embodied faith together, following Christ and honoring the dignity of all life.

Each community is called to see the imago Dei (the image of God) in every person, invite others into the missio Dei (God’s ongoing mission of redemption, reconciliation, and restoration of all things), and join the motus Dei (the movement of God actively transforming and renewing all things).

We believe in creating spaces for all, not only to be welcomed, but accepted and needed in the Kingdom of God.

Bring your whole self and be met with love (no asterisks needed).
